Born in Flint. MI...

 

Jeff came to Phoenix Arizona in Jan. 1999 with "Tongue N' Groove" to record a Cd for Atlantic Records. Jeff decided to permanently move to Arizona, where he went on to play with several bands including "Hello Swindon", "Radio Theory", "Toomstoners" ,"Vicious Fishes", "Mind Advancement Team", "The Steven Vincent Band" (w/ "Black Flag" drummer Emil McKown), "Chad Gregory & the Truth" (Trio w/ Chad Gregory and Andy Varner),  and co-founded the "Soul Solution" (8 piece variety cover band). Jeff also played over 10 years with  "Western Fusion" (Country/Rock cover band w/ Brian Childress, Andy Varner, Rob Ywanauskas, Mike Giacalone, Tanner Seigfort and Dave Raheb)

Before moving to Arizona, Jeff played in and around the Detroit/East Lansing, MI music scene with Steven Tod, Cristos Germanolou, Earl "The Pearl" Caviness (James Brown) ,"The Haywoods", "New Zealand Tom", "Tongue N' Groove", "Nackt" and a Grateful Dead Cover band called "The Big Phat Family Band".

 

Jeff currently averages 200+ live shows a year with "Southbound" (Country/Rock Covers & Originals w/ Justin Hitson, Stan Hitson, Matt Goodman, Marcus Williams, Tommy Corbin, Greg Ahmann and John Rickard), Chad Freeman (The Cowboy in the current "Village People") and "The Tree House Players" (a variety cover band w/ Gardner Cole, Dan Tomlinson, Craig Hannay, Tim McAnally, Josh Santa Cruz and Dawn Kerlin)

 

Jeff also teaches private bass/guitar lessons and is the first call session bassist at Full Well Recording Studio in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Influences: Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, LeLand Sklar, James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, Chris Wood, John Coltrane ,Flea, Frank Zappa, Mike Gordon of Phish, Phil Lesh and the Grateful Dead.
